Ci รจ voluta una settimana. With time verbs you usually use the verb essere. And "palle" referring to yarn balls in italian is funny. I say it all the time, but there is a very, very strong sexual double meaning. Balls and skeins in Italian are both gomitoli.

By the way, I like the topmost sketch. Very 1960's!

I am always in awe of people who decide to learn Italian, it's such a complicated language.
